Cowboys Trade For Fujita, Release Carson And 13 Others
POSTED: 7:14 pm EDT September 3, 2005
Irving, TX -- The Dallas Cowboys obtained former Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Scott Fujita on Saturday, also releasing defensive tackle Leonardo Carson and 13 others as part of the team's "cut-down day" maneuvers.
Fujita, a 16-game starter with the Chiefs in each of the past two seasons, was dealt to Dallas in exchange for a sixth round draft choice in 2006 and a conditional draft choice in 2007. The fourth-year pro out of California recorded 90 tackles and 4.5 sacks for Kansas City in 2004.

I agree with trading him but we should have at least got a bench player that would help us now. A sixth round pick is worthless nowdays you can get just as good of players as undrafted free agents.
