apparently our 3rd draft pick has a mouth on him. ----------------------------------- BEST TRASH TALKER: No surprise that Julian Battle, UT's king of chat, was exchanging some lip with the Wildcats before and during the game. At one point, he cruised in front of Kentucky's bench and exchanged a few words with the Big Blue. "Before the game, their sideline was looking at our sideline and getting a little rowdy,'' Battle said. "It was nothing major. It was typical trash talk, jumping up and down trying to intimidate you." Asked if the Wildcats talk better than they play, Battle responded, "That's what the scoreboard says.'' www.knoxnews.com/kns/gv_columnists/article/0,1406,KNS_301_1580217,00.html

I hate trash talkers. Play the game and let the scoreboard speak for you. From this article though it sounds like he was just defending himself from the trash being directed towards him.

Personally I think trash talking is part of the game and is a good thing I think a good trash talk can either bring out the best competition or demoralize an opponent but however you look at it its all part of the game. To make it in the big time you need to be mentally and physically prepared. I love to talk smack even among friends and expect the same from them, however I don’t think anyone appreciate an excessive celebration I see the 2 as being different one being disrespectful and the other is not, but like I said its just my opinion.

You got to have a little trash talkin every now and then. As long as it aint on every play, I am all for it. But you had better be able to back it up. :v:

I would agree with that it is important to back it up and not talk smack on every play cause if you do then your gonna look foolish and probably wont be playing.
