The Seahawks are the leading candidate to pull off a deal for Dolphins cornerback Patrick Surtain, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer reports. Seattle's interest in Surtain rose when starting CB Ken Lucas signed with the Panthers for six years and $36 million. According to the Post-Intelligencer, the Dolphins would likely demand a second-round pick. Surtain is believed to be seeking a signing bonus of at least $8 million. He's entering the final year of a contract that pays him $6.15 million in 2005 and has a cap number of $8.383 million.
HEY CARL WHILE YOU MADE EXCUSES AND FAILED ONCE AGAIN TO DO WHAT YOU SAID YOU WOULD, ALL THE SOLID AVAILABLE CORNERS ARE SNATCHED UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU. OF COURSE WE ALL KNOW THAT WAS YOUR PLAN IN THE FIRST PLACE BY BEING SO NON-CHALANT. I DON'T KNOW ABOUT THE REST OF THESE FOLKS BUT DON'T THINK I WILL SIT AROUND AND SUPPORT ANOTHER YEAR OF LAST YEARS TEAM. CARL YOUR PATHETIC, UNLESS YOU PULL OFF SOME MIRACLE WITH SURTAIN (WHICH YOU WON'T) THE ONLY PROSPECTS LEFT FOR US ARE KENDRELL BELL AND ED HARTWELL. GOOD PLAYERS BUT NOT THE 3 TO 4 DEFENSIVE STARTERS YOU PROMISED WERE COMING. TAKE A HIKE CARL OFF OF A CLIFF YOUR WORTHLESS......
