Chiefs | Dunn Released - from www.KFFL.comMon, 23 Jun 2003 08:33:34 -0700 The Topeka Capital-Journal reports the Kansas City Chiefs have released QB Marc Dunn. ============================== Chiefs Agree to Terms with NFL Europe Quarterback 6/20/2003 4:11 PM JUN 20 (afternoon)--Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Friday that the club has agreed to terms of a two-year contract with QB David Priestley. As per club policy, no further terms of the agreement were announced. Priestley (6-4, 210) played in four games for the Amsterdam Admirals of NFL Europe in 2003, completing 28 of 52 passes (53.8%) for 326 yards with four touchdowns and one interception. After completing the NFLEL season with Amsterdam, he was added to the roster of the Frankfurt Galaxy for World Bowl XI. Priestley played for the Indiana Firebirds of the Arena Football League a year ago after originally entering the NFL as a rookie free agent with Buffalo in 2002. The University of Pittsburgh product finished his collegiate career fourth in school history with 4,553 passing yards. He averaged 193.5 career passing yards per game to rank second in the Big East record books. The Los Alamitos, California native connected on 156 of 312 passes for 2,088 yards with 16 touchdowns as a senior at Brethren Christian High School. To make room on the Kansas City roster for Priestley, the Chiefs have released QB Marc Dunn. Dunn initially joined the club as a rookie free agent on May 28th after concluding his college career at Kansas State.
