KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) - The Kansas City Chiefs signed Jerald Brown, the Arena Football League's defensive player of the year, to a two-year contract on Tuesday.
The 5-foot-11 defensive back had 65 tackles and a franchise-record 11 interceptions for the Columbus Destroyers in 2006. He had two fumble recoveries and a touchdown.
