I will not root with interest for the Chiefs the rest of the year. Next year yes. This year no. We do not deserve a playoff spot at all. The Browns game was not an abhoration, it is the norm. I can not do this anymore this year. Call me what you may, but after 25 years of this sh*t, I am tired of the same ole' same ole. We are a pathetic team, and anyone who does not believe that does not know how to be honest with themselves. This is not about us making the playoffs or not.
This rant is about us underachieving on the road not about whether or not we make the playoffs. I dont care about that at all. The facts of the matter is someone needs to be held accountable for not only this loss but all of our recent road losses as well.
See ya next year............maybe.

what I can' t understand is how our defense isn't better. We have good linebackers, good safties, and pro bowl corners. Our DE's are pretty decent and you can't tell me that DT play is THAT important. I just don't see any reason why we shouldn't be better on D than we are.

I just don't see any reason why we shouldn't be better on D than we are. our safeties aren't that good ..... wesley is a liability in the passing game and tends to lose focus Knight is a quality player ... but as lost a step and just can't get there linebackers are overrated by us .. . DJ is good ... Kawika mitchell is ok ..... Bell doesn't do much at all our defensive tackles are weak ..... Reed and edwards, 2 guys picked up off the scrap heap took all of about 2 weeks in preseason to take the starting job away from our 1st round draft pick. Defensive coordinator is a moron self-explanatory ..... with a ready made pass rush in Derrick Thomas and Neil Smith, Goonther doesn't have a clue. |
