I know its early, but do we even have a nfl level of an offense? No Shields or Roaf anymore, and it shows dearly. No consistency at qb it appears, next tier down at rb with no LJ or Priest caliber right now, and as usual no deep threat at WR.If we do get in fg range the kicker isnt reliable so far.The bright side so far is on d we arent too bad. When will KC ever have a year that both sides of the ball are great at the same time?Looks like a long winter.

better than expected would still be pretty d**ned bad in my book... i expect very little at this point. They are talking like DJ is on the verge of becoming something special... all i see him doing is looking at people who are rolling on the ground that haven't been touched yet, thinking they are down. If this is the best we've got... we are in so much trouble. We have done nothing but flip flopped the D and O without the dominate defense.

We have done nothing but flip flopped the D and O without the dominate defense. it's true ...... so far it looks like the offense got much worse than the defense got better. we can only hope that these young player eventually make the whole team better.
